During these few weeks, we had to work in groups to learn how to build a remote controlled car as part of our ICT unit.
In this unit I have learnt how to co-operate with each other nicely, communicate efficiently through using Google Docs, learning the correct terms for different parts of the car and how to build it. I found this unit quite interesting because I had never tried building a remote controlled car before and never thought that it was challenging!
We had to follow the manual and fit all the parts in correctly, find the correct screws and screw them in. Towards the end of building our car, we had to charge the battery, fix steering problems if necessary. In our case, our car didn't co-ordinate properly and wouldn't go forward. The fun part was we got to spray paint the car with different colours. Although at times, there were mistakes and people got frustrated about the mistakes, the outcome was still very impressive. As a group, we were really proud of our work.
I learnt that, I am not very keen on building cars and figuring out the mistakes. Next time, I should try to be more proactive.
